Daniel Ridgway Knight (1839 - 1924)

Daniel Ridgway Knight (March 15, 1839 - March 9, 1924). I took notice of this artist over here. What struck me the most about Knight is his soft beautiful lighting.  It doesn't look staged and it feels so real to me. And even though I am not a nineteenth century peasant woman, I somehow totally identify with the woman in the painting.

Vincent Van Gogh (1853 – 1890)

A still-life by Van Gogh that I have never seen before;  I like the colors combinations in the group of flowers.
